Poetry & Essay Evenings (Monthly)
Members read their own or another’s work (10 minutes max.) for discussion or constructive criticism.
Lectures
On Theology, Classical Civilization or English Literature, these are delivered from time to time at Whitelands College, Roehampton (Church of England Theological College) or at the Mount Angelis Road Convent.
Shakespeare Evenings (Summer only, sometimes outside)
These are presided over by David Blake, Shakespearean actor/ Director, and take the form of discussion or performance.
Society Convivia (Bi-monthly)
These soirées provide a relaxed, civilized atmosphere in which like minds may meet each other, converse and make friends.Wine and a buffet, is served at all and it is necessary to book at least three weeks in advance.

Members may access both our libraries.
The Public Library is a show-case for members’ writings to the General Public, Publishers and Literary Agents. Fiction [novels, plays and short stories], Non-fiction, Poetry and Essays are all acceptable.
